The Technology Fair for Horry County Schools

It is exactly what it says... The Technology Fair for all of Horry County Schools.
Including the Elementary, Middle and High Schools.
The student's ages range from Kindergarten to Seniors, and over 3,000 students participated this year.

At this fair we have young minds and older minds working to create something extraordinary.

From robots that pick up garbage:

to musical fruit:

to children developing their own programs/games/video edits, etc... using technology that -as a 35 y/o mother- I haven't used:

There are students from various grade levels building remote controlled lego robots that have to complete missions:

Probably, the most important aspect that I learned (and witnessed) at this fair is the like minded students explaining their creations to other students:

Especially the high school kid's who enjoyed telling the younger kids about their creations. Giving these younger children something to look forward to and someone to look up to:

I think the students would beg to differ and say this was the most important part...
The Awards!

There were a lot of winners. Here is a young student getting the "Star" treatment for his win:

Congratulations to all of the winners!
Kudos to all the participants for doing something or creating something extraordinary and innovative!
Can't wait for next year!
