We have scoured the internet (realtor.com) and have taken 3 jaunts to different locations (cities) and peek-a-booed into windows of the houses we have liked. Out of 100's of houses and 10 cities, we have narrowed our options down to the single digits. We are only interested in 2 cities. WOO HOO!! The rest should be easy, right?? HA HA HA, Yeah right!
Let me start by saying this... just 1 city, only 1 of them... had maybe 5 houses for sale. 2 we really really liked! When we called a realtor to set up a time to look inside we were told they are "Pending - Contingent on Financing". Both of them. So disappointing.
Every new house they have started to build on our street, sold within days of putting the frame down for the slab. There's about 5-10 lots left on our street. Last year we went from having 3 neighbors/houses to having 9. So, I honestly think our house will sell in 2 weeks max, but that is what makes this part a litte scary/nerve-wrecking for me.... We have to sell this house before we buy our new one. So, to time it perfectly is what makes me toss and turn at night.
We shall see what the realtor has to say. She's coming over today to go over everything with us. Wish us luck! ;)
