First week of March.... So Much Going On

To start, We (or should I say Tim) have been getting the house in 'tip-top' shape, preparing it for when it's time to get a realtor involved. We spent last weekend deep cleaning it. This involved 2-3 hours of cleaning both bathrooms and Tim 'Easy-Off'ed the oven. Tim also painted the living room, dining room, and kitchen area. It looks SOOOOOOO much better!! We still have a bit to get done, but I think it'll be easier from here on out.

It was time to give our fish tank some new additions. So, we went to the fish store and all of us got to pick out a fish. Madison picked a pink kisser, Joey got a black (with silver spots) molly, I got a Pearl Gourami and Tim got a red tail shark. Our fish tank was beautiful!!! Then, Tim noticed that the crayfish was eating something.... OMG, it was Madison's Pink Kisser. I ran out and got another one before Madison could notice. Later that night she wanted to kiss her "kisser" good night... Oh my , that was close! Until about midnight that night, when Tim got a drink of water and noticed the crayfish had eaten the new one. OMG!! "Really, F**ker?" was all Tim and I could say to each other. Madison noticed first thing in the morning. We tried telling her it was hiding, but the fish store was out of kisser's :( So, it was time to tell her the truth. Needless to say, the crayfish is sleeping with the fishes. No really... we have a lake in our back yard. ;)

Madison has really been flourishing. She is so into Princesses and Ballerina's. She loves to put her arms over her head and twirl! It is so damn cute! She has resorted to taking empty toilet paper rolls and turning it into a microphone and will run around the house singing as loud as she can. She also has been getting SUPER entertaining during her creative play time. She has about 2-3 conversations with her toys that involve tea time stories... Again, I say so damn cute! :)

Joey on the other hand..... Well, a couple weeks ago was caught lying about something so small. So he was grounded from video games for a week. The day he was supposed to get un-grounded, he got a bad color (for not doing his school work) at school. All was dandy, a normal punishment for the color orange was no video games until he brings home a green. However, when we talked he decided to lie AGAIN! So, now he's grounded for 2 weeks from video games and 1 of those weeks from tv. So he's had some reading time on his hands and I had him start reading Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. As I'm writing this, he's about 3/4th way thru the book. :)

As for me... Well, I've been super busy at work. It's been raining EVERY F**KING day this week, and not the pretty kind... more like "OMG this dreary, gloomy day is going to be the death of me" kind of raining. The weekend is going to be the first day in a while that we see sun! ! YAY! So, today I might actually finish Madison's bed. I'm not holding my breath, but just maybe.

**UPDATE** I did NOT finish Madison's bed! LOL. We BBQ'd at my parents house :)
