I have been super excited to pick up my camera, turn it on, focus on a subject and press the shutter. I think it's safe to assume....I am "in love" with my camera.
The first day I used the NEX, I honestly didn't know how to use it. I've only ever had 'Point and Shoot' cameras and I was using the NEX as a 'Point and Shoot'. I was still capturing beautiful pictures, but apparently not what I could be.
Day 1 - Here is an image I captured by rolling down my car window, going 65 mph and pressing the shutter....
This is when I knew that I had a great camera! To take this picture from a moving vehicle... and it still turn out beautiful... I was very impressed and excited (and still am!)!
I can't wait to save up for another lens. I think my first buy will be a macro lens kit. I can only imagine the pictures I can learn to take with that :)
Day 2-14...I have gotten a lot better since then. I was able to get some cool macro style pics with my NEX and my daylilly and bearded iris, and I've still got so much to learn on this camera! Enjoy the pictures :)

But for me... I love to take pictures of my kids (Who doesn't??) and my hubby's cooking/dishes. Those are the things I love to take pictures of the most...
And, my Hubby's food.....
